Dear Reader, t's been a almost 8 months since my last author update. Most of my time has been devoted to launching and building One Life Church in Sarasota—a dream that's now becoming a reality. If you'd like to follow that journey, you can always keep up with us here. One thing completely surprised me after The Rest of the Man's Show was released. I expected readers to connect with the message. I didn't expect so many people to tell me they loved the writing itself. Even more encouraging, many reviewers said they hoped this wouldn't be my last book. A few comments from Amazon reviews that have stayed with me: "One of the best writers I have ever read regardless of the subject." "I truly hope Bill keeps writing. I hope this won't be his only published work." "His personal story and his talent for writing are incredible." As someone who has wanted to be a writer since I was about nine years old, those words are deeply humbling. They've also given me the confidence to keep pursuing this calling. So... I'm writing Book Two. It will be very different from my debut. While The Rest of the Man's Show was part memoir, this next book is centered on a single topic—one that I think almost everyone will find helpful at some point in life. Although the format is changing, I'm committed to keeping what readers seemed to enjoy: the humor, the storytelling, the unexpected turns of phrase, and my attempt to pair depth with simplicity. There is one catch. This time, I'm only planning to release the book if it finds a traditional publisher. So I'd appreciate your prayers as I begin that journey. And if you happen to know a literary agent or someone in publishing... well... feel free to hook Bill up. If you've made it this far, you probably have questions. I'll share more soon. Thank you for following along on this journey. It means more than you know. Godspeed, Bill |

Dear Reader, First of all, thank you so much for coming along with me on the journey to the release of my first book, The Rest of the Man's Show, this year! I love hearing stories of how it is reaching people. I recently ran into a guy I know from the cowork space I work out of downtown. He told me he's not religious, but he loved the book so much that he bought copies for his family as gifts this month. He told me he's curious to see their reaction when they receive this gift from him, since...
Dear Reader, I know we are knee deep in the Christmas season, so I will keep this very brief. We continue to have significant momentum as we build and prepare to launch early next year. Here are three quick, important updates: Launch date - Our launch date has been moved one week from 2/22/26 to 3/1/26 to resolve scheduling issues. Launch budget - We are 1/3 of the way towards our $150,000 launch budget goal. We need to order a bulk of our gear very soon to ensure it is on hand and ready for...
Dear Reader, On Monday, I had a conversation with Chris, a core member of our launch team (how we connected is a God story in and of itself). Chris asked, “Was it like this last time?” He wondered if things went like this when we planted a church many years prior in Connecticut. The reason he asked is that we were both marveling at how many things God has been doing and providing to bring One Life Church from vision into reality. After all, Bayside Church had just donated a trailer to us to...
