Dear Reader, No, I am not writing another book (yet), but rather God has called me, and confirmed the call by many people, to launch a new church in Sarasota in 2026! This is crazy, because for two years I said I would never do it again. However, I am very excited about the unique vision and mission God has given us for One Life Church, which you can learn about in this 3-minute video: We have been working hard, and here are a few things we have done/are doing: • Finalized the name – One Life Church! • Completed the logo/brand design • Determined the initial Board of Directors for governance • Built a solid team of Advisors/Coaches for wisdom/guidance • Begun the incorporation process • Built the outline of a launch plan • Begun the affiliation process with the Calvary Global Network • Begun the affiliation process with the Southern Baptist Convention Once some of the above are complete, it will open up the next steps we can take, but there are some BIG things we’d love you to begin praying for in advance (if you are a person of prayer). We need prayer for: • An ideal meeting location for the church • God to prepare the hearts of individual and church donors to fund the launch • God to call at least 50 people to be part of our launch team There’s more, but those are the big things for now! Dear Reader, I know we are knee deep in the Christmas season, so I will keep this very brief. We continue to have significant momentum as we build and prepare to launch early next year.
